Uncovering the Power of Hidden Dynamics

Uncovering the Power of Hidden Dynamics

Uncovering the Power of Hidden Dynamics

These past months and last year have really shown us how precious life is and especially how precious connections in our lives are.
Many of us couldn’t see our relatives for a long time and we had to keep distance which also has been very difficult.

But what I notice is that now we are more able to be together again, deeper conflicts in our relationships have also come to the surface and many struggle with looking honestly at what is going on in their families and partnerships.
Maybe these conflicts have always been there, but we just never faced them or looked deeper into them.

So how do we deal with these conflicts?

First of all it’s important to be honest about what is going on and to acknowledge that there are conflicts.
We are so good normally at avoiding them and just pretending all is ok.
If we as adults pretend all is fine, our children learn to not talk openly about any tensions or conflicts they feel too.

So in this way we avoid dealing with them in the first place.
Inviting an open communication about them is important.
It brings an atmosphere where everyone is invited to share how they feel.

Secondly it’s also important to understand that there is a lot more to difficult dynamics than we often think.
This is why I always work with parents and the children, not just with the children.
I also encourage parents to work together on issues, not just one parent.
In my couple’s work I do separate sessions with each partner, then also sessions together.
And if you come with an issue that brings dynamics from your childhood into light, we look into these dynamics and who has been involved, rather than just working with you.

My business is called Barefoot Humans where I want to give you a space to take your shoes off and be totally honest about your current situation.
Barefoot Humans are the ones who want to make changes in their lives, for themselves and for others in their family system.
I look with you into the hidden dynamics that are going on underneath any issues you are experiencing within your relationships and families.
Systemic work gives you a deeper understanding of what is actually going on in your life that keeps you stuck where you are at right now.

These issues can show up in a variety of ways, for example ongoing conflicts with others, being triggered on a regular basis in your life and overreacting, a constant feeling of tension and stress, burn out, illness, addictions, body issues, emotional issues

Here are two examples of my work with clients.

A woman came with panic attacks and didn’t know where they came from.
In our work we uncovered how these panic attacks had to do with expectations on her to be somebody that she didn’t want to be.
Slowly we made space for the real her and worked through the loyalties that kept her in a place connected with the panic attacks.

A family came to me because of ongoing issues with the teenage daughter.
I worked with the daughter alone, but also with each parent.
Slowly we uncovered dynamics between them all that contributed to the daughter acting out and showing a certain behaviour pattern.
Our work supported the parents to understand their own dynamics as a couple and what this meant for the daughter.
They also were more able to set boundaries and clarified their parenting style together.
All of this improved the family situation and now there is a much more open space between them to resolve any conflicts arising.

My systemic work takes a wide view of your situation and includes not only your current life experience, but also the stories of people before you.
As what happened in our family system even before your parents can still influence how you feel in your life right now.
Patterns are passed on over generations in many families and it takes increased awareness to understand what is still present in your life today.
I use a mapping process to show you what hidden dynamics and patterns might keep you stuck where you are.
This work can touch you on a very deep level and can heal old wounds, leading to a transformation in your life and the lives of those around you.
You can connect to your fullest health and vitality and you have more energy for living.
It is very useful wherever there is a direct need for more understanding, action or decision-making and when you seek more clarity in your life.

If this resonates with you, why not book a first free call with me to find out more and to see whether this work can benefit you too.
I look forward to hearing from you.
