Sovereignty Meditation Part 7: Autumn Eqinox
Sovereignty Meditation Part 7: Autumn Eqinox
With this next part in the series of Sovereignty Meditations by Simon and Sue Lilly we are connecting in to Nimunë, Lady of the Door as our representation of the Autumn Equinox Goddess. This process is there to support and help us when we are at a threshold between cycles, especially when we need to move forward to make way for others. At certain times in our lives we need to take our place in the wider scheme of things, yet may still prefer to act behind the scenes. As we find our security in new surroundings we can work for all beings using our fully developed creative drives.
The qualities we will be bringing through the meditation process on this day will include:
Sun Opener (Heimia salicifolia) which helps to create harmonious flow of mind that increases communication and listening skills. It helps to quieten in order to hear others and to understand. Emotional burdens are lifted from the heart. Joy and creativity are increased. Clearer decision making, choice of direction becomes easier. There is a deepening of satisfaction and a greater experience of harmony.
White Petunia which works primarily on the heart and can help to activate and energise the area of the physical heart, lungs and chest area. The Heart meridian is rebalanced where there is insecurity related to new experiences that break or redefine old boundaries. Suppressed feelings can be released smoothly, increasing peacefulness. It helps bring a deep insight into finer levels of spiritual states.
Toloache (Datura Metaloides) for a clear flow of energy, a frictionless flow between self and the universe. Resolution of self doubts and self limitations. The universe becomes your comfortable body. It enables a quietening of the mental processes to a state of receptivity and peace.
in the presence of Wormwood (Artemesia absinthum) for the release of fear and anxiety to give self empowerment and self determination.
and Blue Light to key directly into communication in all its facets. It helps to create a flow of information by balancing out the highs and lows. Blue brings peace quietness and detachment.
during the Autumn Equinox, one of the two days of the year where day and night are of equal length. In this respect they show the balance of the year. It marks the beginning of the sun's journey south of the equator, the lengthening of nights and the promise of winter.
The Archetype in the Goddess energy for this moment is initiating, bringing opportunities and inspiration.
Nimuë/Nivienne is infamous as the woman who is supposed to have destroyed the Merlin in Arthurian legends. This can be considered as an over simplification. It appears that the Merlin may have become tired of the world and wished to withdraw. His place was taken by Nimuë, who Merlin had taught so that he could withdraw and not leave Arthur without and advisor. By giving the Merlin space and opportunity to withdraw when he wishes, back to the 'otherlands'. She was given guardianship of the borderlands of this world with others.
As with all the previous meditations in this series we will be combining a number of elements for a truly deep experience. We we not only have a visual image created by Simon Lilly, embodying al the qualities we have spoken of above, but we will also have an audio essence created by Brian Parsons ofwww.audioessences.comto reflect the self same qualities. There will also be an atomised crystal essence to compliment the energy of the day and a guided visualisation to journey us into grounding more deeply and connecting with the energy of the season as it shifts.
We hope that you will join us at Centre for Integral Health on Tuesday 23rd September at 7.30 for this great event. Attendance is by donation and more details can be seen on the Centre's Events Page.
Thanks once again to Sue and Simon Lilly for allowing us to share the wonderful work of the Sovereignty Meditations they created. More information about them and their work can be found here.
